Event Started on 13 Feb, with the agenda of Covering Introduction pf MCR, Mozilla Verticles, Web-apps and Web-API's. It started with Ice breaking session by Ashwin, which later on turned into Introduction session. The Interaction between the speakers and students proved to be good.

I, Rashya Sharma, Ashwin Devarajan and Shahbaz Alam Introduced ourselves to the students.
Students from all years took part in the event with great enthusiasm.
We introduced students to the MCR, SIG Program and All the Mozilla verticles in which they can contribute, in a brief manner.

Introduction To Web API's and Web Apps.

Shahbaz started the session with introduction of Web Apps and WEB API's . Without Mainstreaming the talk , we allowed students to ask offstream questions so that their knowledge can be enriched.
With Updation of firefox in a lot of systems we  installed the WEB IDE so as to start designing Apps.
We Created a Etherpad so that students can write their ideas and it was awesome to see 50+ students working on a single etherpad.

The Colourful etherpad was growing , by every idea by the students. We finalized Some ideas and we allotted every idea to a group of students.
An innovative approach this time, used by the speakers on arrival of every query was " Hey! Firstly DuckDuckGo it ". This prevented the spoonfeeding concepts and increased student involvement.

Students Used many API's to make some very basic apps like geolocation calculator, etc.

At the end we concluded the day with distribution of swags to the students who proposed some very good ideas for web-apps.

Next Day being a regional holiday Because of a government exam , decreased the student numbers because of the lack of accomodation . Still students were present in good numbers to learn new things.

Introduction to Github.

The second day of LTCF, was completely dedicated on learning Git  so that students can start working in a Open Source Environment. Due to availability of windows oriented computers, we installed bash shells so that students can have a taste on working on Command Line.

Git session

As Expected , it was new for all the students and Many questions and queries were there in the mind of students , but all of them were patiently solved by Ashwin and Shahbaz . I coordinated with all the students , so that noone lags behind and synchronization is maintained.

Students enjoyed working on git and command line. They learned every git command taught to them by heart and implemented it with full enthusiasm.
gid add , commit , push  and then finally merge was on the mouth of every attendee. Each PR request boosted their own self-confidence.

So the second day and the event concluded with a promise of keep learning more about git and many more open souce technologies.

I got Some awesome informal feedbacks out of which one is by Harshul Mathur  which can be seen below.
